Matta K Back in Bangan 2nd(and third) time 2017

Yes he is my friend and the coolest guy in Bangalore ... well the coolest I know anyways ;-) So everytime I go for important work in Bangalore for ABB Robotics company I will try meet all my friends that I have met over the years I been to Bangalore. So the last the night before going back home to Sweden I had a get together after work with my friend Sumit. We shared a 'beer tower' and a pizza at the The Beer at cafe. Later on we went to see the VR rooftop bar and restaurant that also has a great view of the skyline of Bangalore.

I do have a love-hate relation to Bangalore. You have to be there of course to experiance what I have to get the feel or emotion that is there in Bangalore and this are my pros and cons of a working trip. Let me explain: Pros: 1. colleagues, so friendly and always want to be helpful 2. weather is always a plus, Bangalore have the best climate in the whole of India, they say. 3. you stay at a hotel, which I like a lot ( I am a traveller ) 4. you will always get surprised ... of anything and everything ... I cannot explain 5. sounds and smells Cons: 1. nothing works as expected 2. you will everyday get upset of something, see no. 1 3. smog, dust, exhaust, ... well air is very bad for your health 4. traffic is insane, to many car, bikes, buses, ... 5. the honking of horns all the time (also charming in some way, when in doors) 6. sounds and smells This is not an deep analysis of course just a quick let you know of my thoughts. Yes we did have a lunch together ... usually it c would be dinner but I say it is better with lunch. But having the lunch get together at the last day is very very bad ... I explain ...  if you for some reason get a "stomach bug" that afternoon because of the lunchbuffe' you are in badluck or even worst. So it should be as early in the stay as possible. Still I have to say the place we were to was really good one and as told it is a pretty new place as well. Outside the restaurant Name is ... Fatso and my friends Dessserts ... ???

A most promised and very late post about the room I got at The Waverly hotel. The entrancy Nice comfy bed Curtains for darkness, works not so well as you can see the sunlight can actually get in as the curtains are too short hallway Wardrobes, minibar, chips in drawer, ... Bathroom Mirror Shower Towels and a bathrobe Sink

The weather was pretty nice this Monday 10th so I went up to the rooftop for outside and beneath the sky. A nice ice cold Kingfisher beer Dinner was dumplings, which where pretty OK, they did have much flavor to them. Nicely presented in a basket Dumplings with 2 different dipping souces The view from the rooftop Panorama I had a drink as well, Gin and 'Champagne'

sleep ... in the middle of the walkway where all people walk ... WTF ... well every where in Asia I have seen this. ;-)

I enjoined the safari as it was my first one ever, I love nature and being in India looking at the forest makes me so peaceful . WOW this is 'Incredible India' I just love it. My friends was also excited as they talking all the time while me was just silent and enjoying the scenery. As Sumit said, F*ck why keep the elephants in chains, I also hate it. Some black bears Many of them did as this dude did ... wow look at the claws. The King Lioness owned the King big time, just passing by The King and letting him know who's the real roler of this jungle He did nothing ... as in in human life ... she do what she does ... man do as she will ... almost ... maybe ... 

I love Jack&Jones clothing so now when they are having 50% flat off, how can I ignore that!?!? I cannot of course. So I got me some shirts and t-shirts. I was there at the same shop 2 month ago, yes in India, Bangalore, and got so great service but today the girl could not even find the jeans that I wanted, the last time I got 3 pares and now there where none? Still I hope there will be 50% flat off next week and then I can get the jeans I want from the right girl  ... Incredible India yes ... it will never stop to amaze or surprise me!!! Vintage is thing ...

Bangalore times

My friend Krishan that took us for the adventure (it will come soon in the blog) gave me a call on the cellphone and it made me so happy. So what happened was that I got Krishans son a gift/present from Sweden and as they are really popular I thought it would be a nice gift/present. So Krishan called me and told me that just the day before his son was crying to have one of these things AND the next day he got one from Sweden. How cool is that!?!? Well it made my day, big time, thank you for the call Krishan!!! This is the thingy ... a Fidget Spinner 'We' bought two here in India at the street (in the car) and those ones are not good ones so Krishan's son got quality spinner from Sweden.

I did some shopping again and I was actually looking for a 'jacket' with a hoodie but as it seems the season for it is not here in Bangalore which to me seems a bit strange as in Sweden you will get them at any time of year as there is no season for it. You can wear them all the year around of course. However I got some other garments from Adidas and Gant. I just realized that I haven't taken any pictures from VR mall but I will so you can see it, I think Phoenix is much better. Buy two get 50% off or buy one get one free I love these Adidas pant, 30% off. I got the same ones the last time I was here in Bangalore but black one these are blue. I had dinner as well of course as you have to eat to survive Dinner was not just a Kingfisher beer ... ;-)

I think I have some bad karma when it comes to taxis and taxis coming in time. Yesterday I had to wait for 1 hour until the taxi came to take me to the hotel. Gaaah, so frustrating!!! I know I should know this by now and just let it go and move on but it is of course tough when you are used to having everything coming/going on time in Sweden but I should not of course expect that here.
